About the Event

Now in its fourth edition, Lung Update will cover the latest developments in the treatment of thoracic tumors in the fields of surgery, clinical oncology, and radiation therapy, with a focus on multidisciplinary care.
Our main focus will be on the latest developments from the WCLC and ASCO 2026. We will feature nationally renowned speakers, moderators, and panelists.

The activities will be divided into 4 blocks:

Small-cell lung cancer / mesothelioma / thymic tumors. New horizons in the management of rare thoracic neoplasms. A new era with immunotherapy and BITEs;
Non-small-cell lung cancer in early-stage and advanced locoregional disease. Neoadjuvant therapy vs. perioperative therapy: Do we have a new standard of care for localized disease?;
Advanced non-small cell lung cancer—with a driver mutation. Targeted therapy in 2026: Who, when, and how to treat?;
Advanced non-small cell lung cancer—without a driver mutation. What is the treatment of choice and its sequence? Have we moved beyond docetaxel as a second-line treatment?
