Opening Remarks and Course Overview.
The certification and training process in robotic surgery.
Operation and components of the robotic platform.
Surgeon’s console, patient cart, and tower: overview.
Using the master controls, controlling the camera, and instrument control:
switching arms.
Port clutch and instrument clutch, remote center.
Docking, positioning the camera arm and mounting the cannulas, undocking.
Inserting and removing the camera and instruments + guided insertion.
Ergonomic control: repositioning the master controls.
Camera control, focus, zoom, white balance, 3D calibration, and more.
